"Fantastic!! Grant is the best. The weather has been a little tricky lately but Grant stayed in communication with me for two weeks regarding best time to come through to make sure we could see some stars. He was so kind and well educated, you can tell he has a passion for astronomy. It’s refreshing to see people excited about what they are doing and sharing it with others."

"Just an amazing place!! We got to experience this as a group adventure with our local Cub Scout pack. Grant, the astronomer, was just full of knowledge. He was able to answer both adult and kid questions right away and had an answer for every question. My daughter told me on the way home she decided she wants to be an astronaut when she grows up. Before that it was always rescue koalas."

"My friends were visiting from college and I took them here as a surprise event since we are all interested in stars and planets! We had a great time! Grant is super knowledgeable and was able to find a variety of fascinating things to look at even though the sky wasn't necessarily optimal for viewing. I hope to come again many times in different seasons to catch everything!"

"Had an excellent experience learning from Grant about the mysteries of the universe! We were fortunate to come on a less busy evening so he was able to spin the telescope around and show us extra star formations! He is knowledgeable, courteous, and the neat little observatory is well kept in a convenient area. Definitely recommend!"

"Highly recommend the tour to the Hopservatory - especially with Grant. Very informative and flexible. Patient with questions from both kids (who were very excited and asked some great questions) and parents. Took time to find special requests and still communicate to all ages."

"Plenty of wide-open C.O. nights to enjoy the stars and see some cool stuff. Happened to check it out when the Neowise comet made an appearance and was not disappointed. Grant is the man and really knows his stuff! 100% worth checking out."

"The guy leading our group was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. I arranged for my 5 closest friends to go to their late booking. While we were there we asked to see specific stars and he was able to track them down for us. Great experience!"

"Grant is very friendly and well informed, both in observing the sky and in technical knowledge operating and troubleshooting different types of telescopes. I was having difficulty getting a new Celestron 11" schmid-cassegrain telescope polar-aligned and he spent over an hour assisting me at my home in resolving my difficulties setting it up on his own time. Thank you again, Grant, I was up until 1 am observing Saturn, Jupiter, the ring nebula, Hercules' star cluster, and galaxies M81 & 82!"
